A letter from C3 Leaders Executive Director, Jon Sharpe:
We are aware that things need to change in our region and in our world. We have watched leaders default in the public arena with alarming regularity and with devastating consequences. C3 Leaders seeks to address the need for leaders to be grounded in true values; Jesus values. From our vantage point, the values of Jesus point us to living in community where trust and love are the norm rather than the exception. When we bring leaders together in forums, we help them encourage each other to live and lead like Jesus. Being in a trust community addresses the need for human and spiritual connection at a deep soul level.
The first level of community for C3 Leaders starts with peers. Those who share common experiences, joys, and sorrows. Peer relationships are vital for personal growth. Although we need peers, we also affirm that God calls us to reach out to those around us who may not be peers. C3 Leaders believes that we have been called to serve the least, lost, and vulnerable and to go wherever he calls us.
Doors have opened wide with opportunity to reach out to a younger generation of leaders. Young leaders want to build for the future and desire to be a part of a growing community of business leaders seeking to live an authentic life. Presently we are building intergenerational forums where young and seasoned leaders learn to walk together.
If you want to join us and be a part of making a difference in our community by impacting the way leaders live and lead, please consider passing along the word and also investing in this work.
